Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Tests through a nationally standardized testing system and have the option of participating in a variety of invitational competitions.

There is no skating on Family Day - Monday February 17, 2020.

Christmas break will begin Sunday December 22 - there is no skating on this day through January 5, 2020 inclusive. These dates have been accounted for in fee calculations.

A Performance Day is being held on Friday December 13th to give all STARSkaters an opportunity to showcase their programs. A schedule will be communicated closer to the date.

Please note that From Mar 22 - Apr 2 will be choreography rehearsals for the STARSkate showcase on Saturday April 4th, 2020, in the afternoon. The schedule may vary slightly for these 2 weeks and will be communicated in advance to show participants. The Pre-Junior program is designed for those CanSkaters who have completed Stage 4 and wish to start incorporating Figure Skating specific skills as they progress through Stage 5 and 6 of the CanSkate program. This is designed to smooth the transition from CanSkate into STARSkate for those skaters who wish to move towards Figure Skating following their CanSkate program. Program Description:

The Adult Skate program is open to all adults who would like to come out once per week for fitness and friendship. Skaters of all levels are welcome to this program.
